Welcome to the Ennistymon Book Town Festival

Famous for its Victorian shop fronts, the cascades and a beautiful river walk, Ennistymon is a gateway to the Burren and close to many lovely beaches.

Ennistymon is also home to many writers, artists, musicians and story tellers. The town has two bookshops, a number of art galleries, and hosts various exhibitions and events throughout the year.

7pm – Linda Hebenstreit and songpals. STORIES, SONGS AND SHELLS. Linda and friends will be discussing sense of place, and the beauty and inspiration of where we live. They will be singing songs inspired by County Clare and Linda will talk about how her love of Clare and of shells inspired her to write Shell Hunter’s Journal – A Casual Tour of the Beaches of County Clare.
